Event Date : 25th February 2016

About Event: The Fourth National Symposium on Shock Waves (NSSW-4), an event in the series of NSSW initiated by the Society for Shock Wave Research (India), will be held during February 25-26, 2016 at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. The First symposium of the series was held at Bangalore in 2011, second at Thanjavur in 2012 and third at Mumbai 2014. The Symposium will be an intellectual forum for Researchers, Faculty Members and Industry Professionals to exchange contemporary ideas and information in the area of shock waves and their useful terrestrial applications. The area of research is active in India with the aerospace, defense, biomedical, chemical kinetic and commercial applications of shock waves being pursued in several professional research laboratories and premier academic institutions. People with specialization of shock waves research are encouraged to participate in this symposium with an objective of dissemination/accretion of knowledge on shock waves and the allied phenomena
